About Kwaza

Nature does the design.

Kwaza Mineral Art specialises in exceptional minerals from Brazil. I work with long-standing partners in Rio Grande do Sul, the region known worldwide for agate and amethyst.

Every piece is picked in person, then checked, photographed and carefully packed in the Netherlands. What you see in the lot photos is exactly what you receive.

My aim is simple: to find stones that are not only beautiful, but genuinely add something to an interior or a collection.

Where do the stones come from?

Most pieces come from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil, with Soledade as the main trading hub. Kwaza Mineral Art buys directly from established partners on site.

Are the colours natural?

Agate can be naturally coloured or dyed/treated. Treatments should be disclosed in the relevant lot. Assess colour using the description and detail photos on Catawiki; an interior composition is not evidence of treatment or its absence.

Are the photos on this site of the actual lots?

No. The gallery and other images on this site are interior atmosphere shots — they show how agate and amethyst can sit in a room, and do not belong to a specific lot. Real lot photos — against a neutral background, with dimensions and treatment — appear only on the Catawiki auction. What you see there is exactly what you receive.

How are pieces shipped?

Each object is packed separately in shock-resistant material. Shipping runs with track & trace throughout Europe, via DHL eCommerce.

Can I look for a specific piece?

Yes. Use the «Request a piece» button or the contact form at the bottom right (subject: request a piece). If you are after something specific for an interior project, I will see whether it can come along in a future shipment.
