Step by step: find, bid, pay, receive

- Bid. Place your bid on Catawiki. You see the indicative expert estimate and the auction runtime.
- Pay. After winning, you pay via the platform — not directly to me.
- Receive. The piece is packed shock-resistant and shipped with track & trace across Europe.
Expert review and buyer protection
Every lot is reviewed beforehand by an independent Catawiki expert. That is an extra layer on top of our own check in the Netherlands (measuring, weighing, photographing). If something does not match the lot photos, the platform’s buyer protection applies.
Reading lot photos and descriptions
Check dimensions, weight, whether something is natural or dyed, and whether a stand is included. Atmosphere images on this site are not lot photos. Real lot photos — on a neutral background, with dimensions and treatment — appear only on the Catawiki auction.
Packing and shipping across Europe
Crystal tips and thin slices get extra protection. Within the Netherlands shipping usually takes a few working days; elsewhere in Europe longer, depending on destination. Every parcel has track & trace.
Looking for a specific piece: contact alongside bidding
Is exactly what you want not listed? Send size, colour tone or use (for example sideboard or statement) via the contact form. I will see whether it can come along in a future shipment from Soledade.

Tips before you bid
- Read the full lot description, not only the title.
- Compare several photos: front, side, crystal or banding detail.
- Note whether natural/dyed/untreated is stated explicitly.
- Factor in shipping and any customs outside the EU if that applies — within the EU the route is usually straightforward.
